Shaykh Mahdi Lock, a world-renowned translator and educator, has dedicated nearly two decades to advancing Arabic and English language education. As Director of Arkview Arabic, he brings a unique perspective to teaching, enriched by his extensive translation work and studies in Islamic sciences. He is passionate about making Arabic accessible, blending traditional and modern teaching methods, and creating a supportive learning environment.

Each level names the book and units it covers. Take the placement test to see where you start: below 70 is 101, 70 to 130 is 102, 130 to 195 is 103, and above 195 is 104. If you have already passed an Arkview exam, that result takes precedence over the score.
